Abortion clinics send patients to hospitals

Operation Rescue reported in a press release on Tuesday that two abortion clinics in the U.S. had to send patients to local hospitals over the weekend. On July 7, pro-life activists photographed both incidents in Massachusetts and Georgia. According to Troy Newman of Operation Rescue and Pro-Life Nation, “[b]oth of these clinics are repeat offenders. This and other documentation reveals a pattern of abortion abuses that are injuring women, often at an astounding rate, as we see in Atlanta.”

The first incident occurred at Planned Parenthood in Boston. According to Operation Rescue Boston, an ambulance picked up a patient from the clinic for emergency transport. The condition of the patient is not known. Planned Parenthood Boston has been the site of another incident, taking place on January 7, 2011. You can read Operation Rescue’s report on that incident here.

In Atlanta, Georgia, an ambulance arrived at the Feminist Women’s Health Center (FWHC), also known as the Cliff Valley Clinic. This year alone at the clinic, there have already been three incidents of this type. In February, March, and April, ambulances were sent to the clinic, according to pro-life activist Michelle Wolven. And according to information from the EMS Dispatch Department of Dekalb County, in 2011, five ambulances were called to the clinic for botched abortion victims.

Troy Newman noted, “Incidents like this reveal a national scandal that the mainstream media is loath to cover. Abortion clinics across the nation are dangerous places that injure patients and ignore laws that were enacted to protect women.” Newman explains that due to pro-life activists and the internet, the truth is finally being revealed to the public.

Abortion places are NOT safe places! They are NOT safe places for women or children or other living persons or “things.” Abortion is not “safe,” period.

pretty sure nobody ever said going through an abortion is without risk… have a real point to make?

5 ambulances in a year? That’s nothing. There can be complications during any kind of medical procedure. For a site that claims Planned Parenthood performs an abortion every 26 seconds, 2 hospital visits over the weekend? Yeah, hardly a national scandal. Especially considering you don’t know the nature of those incidents. For all you know, a nurse had a heart attack so they called an ambulance for her. Abortions are statistically safer than giving birth.

*a nurse could have had a heart attack

I don’t give a damn about how many ambulances are called for the woman having the abortion, when most of the babies don’t make it out of the clinic alive! It’s 2012, women have access to “real” information to what actually happens to their unborn child during an abortion, and what complications can occur to themselves, as a result of the procedure!!
