Feminist Claims All Women Must Support Abortion

The problem with pro-abortion feminists? They refuse to allow anyone else the pleasure of making up his or her own mind about abortion. To them, you can’t be a real feminist, let alone a real woman, unless you support abortion in all its forms. Yet another pro-abort is shouting this for the world to hear: women, you aren’t allowed to be pro-life.

Feminists didn’t speak out against our country’s Status of Women Minister because she didn’t comply with some kind of groupthink. Feminists disagree on a lot of things, big and small. We have disagreements on pornography, sex work, body hair, the SFU Men’s Centre, SlutWalk, whether Pinterest is killing the movement, whether Lady Gaga is a role model, even whether knitting is reclaiming feminist heritage or setting us back.

Where feminists know we can’t afford to disagree is the fundamental feminist issue of the right to choose to have an abortion.

Apparently, women are not allowed to think for themselves. This pro-abortion blogger would likely be horrified, then, to learn that the majority of women are pro-life.

It doesn’t make any of them traitors to their gender or anti-feminists. In fact, the woman who is willing to fight for the lives of her children is more of a woman than one who is not.

The pro-abortion movement was never about choice. They don’t want women to have the choice to make up their own minds about abortion. This is why the abortion industry so often lies about the scientific facts of pregnancy and abortion. It’s why they argue against pre-abortion ultrasounds. They don’t want to risk women knowing too much about abortion, and they don’t want women having the freedom to be pro-life. There’s no choice in the “pro-choice” movement. Women are told what they are and aren’t allowed to believe in – and they aren’t allowed to believe in protecting life.

Which side sounds more feminist to you?

You hit the nail head, Cassy. Every woman by nature is pro motherhood. By age 13 every cell in a girl’s body begins preparing for new life, breast develops for baby feeding and a whole lot of bodily changes takes place. Planned parenthood has to tell a lot of lies to obscure those facts.

So we are just good for baby making machines. Isn’t that special.

I can afford to stand up against murder. Especially of innocent young children. Especially when it harms women in so many ways. It destroys relationships, hurts a woman’s body, is unsafe, and did I mention…it’s murder?

Don’t forget that the original feminists (Susan B. Anthony, Alice Paul, etc.) were very Pro-Life. This person has disavowed the founders of the entire feminist movement as being true feminists.

You should really check out The Guiding Star Project http://www.theguidingstarproject.com and the New Feminist movement. You certainly sound like a New Feminist at heart! :)

As a feminist, I think society should support a pregnant, scared young woman, not tell her that her only solution is to make her body like a man’s body.

I don’t buy the notion that every woman is only a REAL woman if she embraces motherhood, is aching for babies, and cries at weddings. (Ugh.) But seriously, there’s some grey area between “Every part of my flowering womanhood is about babies!” and “Wow, I’m pregnant, I need to kill my kid.” Like, oh, bringing the child to term and giving up the baby to a couple who aches for one. Having the basic sense and responsibility to not get pregnant in the first place. Having the guts to tell society that we are NOT men, that we get pregnant, and that we might want moral and legal support.

Your rebellions in fornication, leads to the murder of children because you lead a self indulgent self AGENDA lifestyle robbing people of purity to try and get the next fix because NOTHING will satisfy like Jesus….NOTHING

uhm…. actually, they say right in your quote, “giving women the right to CHOOSE to have an abortion.” Like, women having the choice to make decisions that will hugely impact their personal health and the rest of their life. Crazy?
