Gov. Jindal to play undercover videos for pro-abortion rally at Louisiana governor’s mansion

In response to a pro-abortion rally to be hosted by Planned Parenthood at the governor’s mansion today, Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal has released a statement saying that his office plans to play The Center for Medical Progress’s videos, filmed undercover at various Planned Parenthood clinics and elsewhere, for the crowd that gathers at 4:30 p.m., reports The Times-Picayune.

The Governor’s office said in the statement:

Many Planned Parenthood supporters, including President Obama and members of the White House, said they have not or will not view the horrific Planned Parenthood videos….

Planned Parenthood has a right to protest today, but Governor Jindal’s office will ensure that anyone who shows up will have to witness first-hand the offensive actions of the organization they are supporting.

The abortion giant responded with remarks about “uninsured” women (apparently not recipients of Obamacare) and “women’s health.” No mention was made of the organization’s harvesting and trafficking of aborted baby body parts:

“As it stands today, nearly one in five women in Louisiana are uninsured, 60 percent of pregnancies in Louisiana were unintended, and New Orleans and Baton Rouge have some of the highest HIV infection rates of all U.S. cities,” Flournoy said. “We need more health care providers dedicated to caring for women in New Orleans and Baton Rouge — not less. Planned Parenthood will fight these attacks on our patients and all Louisiana women with everything we’ve got.”

As previously reported by Live Action News, Gov. Jindal terminated the state’s Medicaid contract with Planned Parenthood on August 3. Prior to that, he launched a state investigation into the taxpayer-funded abortion business, causing the construction on a multi-million dollar Planned Parenthood abortion center to be put on hold.
