Lila Rose and Fr. Guarnizo to speak at pro-life protest outside Carhart late-term abortion center

Lila Rose

On Monday, September 17, Live Action President Lila Rose and Fr. Marcel Guarnizo will join local pro-life advocates outside the Leroy Carhart’s late-term abortion clinic in Germantown, Maryland to protest the destruction of human life that happens inside. Set for 10am local time, the rally will include speeches from Lila Rose and Fr. Marcel Guarnizo to encourage the protection of all human life, especially those who are not yet born and unable to defend themselves.

In the last two years, the Pray for Germantown website counts 62 mothers who have changed their minds and decided to not terminate their unborn children because of the local pro-life efforts.

For more information about the clinic and how to attend the protest, including directions, visit prayforgermantown.com.

“In the last two years, the Pray for Germantown website counts 62 mothers who have changed their mind and decided to not terminate their unborn children because of the local pro-life efforts.”you mean, it wasn’t from praying?

Prayers are Pro-Life efforts. Every single thing done to save lives is done with prayer.

what if i told you i’ve been praying to keep America pro-choice? and that god has been answering my prayers?

then we’ll add you to our prayer list as well PD. you seem to need it :)

          • PD

typical christian? you follow a thoughtful (if meaningless) act with an flagrant insult. but thank you anyways for the thoughtful (though meaningless) act. i’ll take it.

          • Concerned guy

Do not mock the irrelevant prayers for you PD! It is obvious that it will do nothing, but C’mon!!!!!

        • Christ follower

I’d say you pray to a god that is not the Creator, but the god of evil. If you don’t seek the truth in the holy bible, don’t mock what you don’t know. I prayed for you just now. God, who created you, loves you as much as each creation that He gave life to upon conception in the mothers womb. Abortion is murder and is not of love.

see, the problem is that i have read the bible. and it says some pretty freaking horrific things in it. for example:

Make ready to slaughter his sons for the guilt of their fathers; Lest they rise and posses the earth, and fill the breadth of the world with tyrants. (Isaiah 14:21 NAB)

so go ahead and pray for me, but know you’re praying to a god that doesn’t live up to your standards. the proof is in the pudding. he answered my prayers!

what if i told you roe v wade will be overturned and that we will become a pro-life nation eventually? and sorry, but God is pro-life, so that isn’t God answering your prayers.

          • PD

i’d say keep praying :). but which god are you talking about? because Ares, the god of war, would disagree…

          • Concerned guy

But Mohammed and Yaweh would not PD!!!!!

          • Concerned guy

OMG just imagine if we could finally force all of our opinions on EVERYONE! Praise Jesus!!!

I hate to break it to you, but trolls looking only to amuse themselves with bigoted caricatures of the people, faiths, and positions they dislike kinda stick out like a sore thumb. You might wanna rethink your routine.

        • Concerned guy

Praying for choice is a bad thing PD. It is needed that we religious people impose our will upon EVERYONE. We are afterall, no different than the Muslims in wanting to control everything and everyone.

          • http://twitter.com/CalFreiburger Calvin Freiburger

Yawn. Come back when you can debate using something other than bigoted, straw-man caricatures of pro-lifers.

      • Concerned guy

Actual action is really better, but who is counting.

  • Janet Baker

Minor point – Father’s last name is Guarnizo.

  • Concerned guy

I just hope that with my deep and fervent prayers, I can get religious people to stop trying to control others and stop being so judgy! (go with jesus everyone :-)

Yes Let us not judge and execute unborn babies like they are common killers. Give them all a pardon. AMEN

  • Kevin

These people remind me of the westboro baptist church.

    • Concerned guy

Don’t be a hater Kevin. Just because someone with a religious agenda wants to meddle in someones life, doesn’t make them bad. We just need to encourage them to be more human and caring.

  • Concerned guy

I think it is wonder from heaven that this organization will throw guilt into a young woman who has to make a very hard decision! I am also glad that all of you supporters raise so much money to care for the children that you “save” and follow them and help them throughout their lives!!!!!!!!! Praise Jesus!!!

    • Which Jesus

Concerned guy, do you really believe that Jesus would have ‘non judgy’ words for a young woman who was making the ‘hard decision’ to kill her unborn child?

      • http://profile.yahoo.com/UQD2BF2FWR4BRODDXSTP2OAS6I William

He would say “Woe unto you who kill the gifts my father formed in your womb!”
