Lila Rose on Hannity: Planned Parenthood has committed ‘abuse upon abuse’

Last night on Hannity, Live Action President Lila Rose debated Fox News contributor Tamara Holder to call for the defunding of Planned Parenthood.

In the nearly five-minute clip, Hannity called out Planned Parenthood for “admitting on tape, ‘the law’s up for interpretation;’ they’re admitting it!” He insisted that Planned Parenthood should “Stop taking it [money] from hardworking Americans that find the crushing of body parts and the harvesting of body parts grotesque.”

Rose informed the public that “there are three federal statutes that are being broken here.” She went on to explicitly describe the three ways Planned Parenthood is breaking the law: First, “selling the body parts of babies and getting profit from them;” second, “they’re using partial-birth abortions to do this;” and third, “they’re manipulating the abortion procedure, without the woman’s consent or knowledge, in order to better harvest the organs of the babies they’re going to be killing.”

Despite Rose’s explanation of the law, Holder – who is an attorney – continually refused to answer whether she had even read the federal statutes at issue. Instead, following Planned Parenthood’s playbook, Holder simply denied the law had been broken.

At one point, Holder claimed Dr. Mary Gatter – the Planned Parenthood official who loves Lamborghinis – had apologized for her statements. However, at this time, there is no statement on Planned Parenthood’s website issuing an apology for Gatter.

Additionally, as Hannity put it: “[If] I apologize for selling cocaine or heroin, it’s not going to work!”

Apologies aren’t enough when the law has been broken. Planned Parenthood must be held accountable.
