New case of intimidation against pro-life advocate

The following is video testimony by Rachelle Crile about an incident that happened earlier today:

From the Daily Herald:

Crile said she had been working for about 40 minutes when she got cold and ducked back into her car to warm up. She said she was in the vehicle for about 10 minutes when she saw the couple pull up in another car and park near hers.

She said it appeared the pair was planning to enter the facility. She said she prayed and decided to approach their car.

“I went around the car to the driver’s side and held the material up to the driver,” she said. “That’s when the handgun was pulled. I would say it was pointed at me.”

Crile said she raised her arms and backed away. The couple eventually entered the facility.

Last month we saw a similar incident in Duluth, Minnesota when a pro-life advocate was threatened with a knife near her throat. You can read about the latest in that story here.

Takeaway:

  1. Violence and intimidation should not deter us from standing up for human life. We must have courage because protecting human life is worth our investment of time, money, and well-being.
  2. Always be civil and never use threatening or intimidating actions or language so that situations are keep from escalating.
  3. When possible, have a video or still camera with you to accurately record events and deter problems from arising.
  4. Hurts and personally feelings often run deep in the abortion/life debate. When possible, personally befriend those opposed to you because that will often build rapport and lead to conversations that are constructive.
