Planned Parenthood announces a new string of clinic closures

Time to take a hint.

Planned Parenthood has recently revealed that an additional three clinics will be no more.

America’s abortion giant has gone on a spree of closures lately. Adding to Planned Parenthood’s closure of three clinics in Texas, one in Delaware (this is Planned Parenthood’s “House of Horrors,” yet it only closed temporarily), one in New Jersey, and three in New York, Planned Parenthood announced just this week that they are closing down clinics in Colorado Springs and La Junta, Colorado as well as in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Naturally, Planned Parenthood finds ways to tone down the seriousness of these closures. It uses words like “consolidation” and minimizing “gap in care to our patients.” Or, predictably, Planned Parenthood finds someone to blame. For example:

‘In recent years, Texas politicians have created an increasingly hostile environment for providers of reproductive health care in underserved communities,’ Planned Parenthood Gulf Coast President and CEO Melaney A. Linton said in a statement, according to The Huffington Post.

There is, of course, no mention of Planned Parenthood’s apparent unwillingness to spend the necessary funds to adapt its clinics to the new safety standards passed by the Texas legislature. After all, women’s safety and health don’t matter that much to Planned Parenthood. Women matter only when they bring a profit or something else deemed valuable enough to the abortion giant.

Planned Parenthood made an entertaining – but very true – admission as it announced the closure of its clinic in La Junta:

In La Junta, three federally qualified health centers are nearby offering low-cost family planning services and women’s health…

Hmm…so much for the rhetoric that boils down to “Planned Parenthood is the savior of women everywhere.” When it serves the abortion giant’s purposes, Planned Parenthood freely admits that women are indeed served by other health centers. For years, pro-lifers have made the claim that county health departments – and other centers – meet the true health needs of women. And though abortion supporters have often scoffed, here now is an admission from their own champion.

While pro-lifers must be careful not to recklessly boast in the downfall of our opponent, we can rejoice that even Planned Parenthood itself is beginning to realize that its “services” are not needed in many areas nationwide. Planned Parenthood is realizing that average citizens are becoming keen to its true mission – death. Planned Parenthood is being hit with consequences well-deserved – in the form of a $4.3-million fine, multiple lawsuits by whistleblowers, a newly announced investigation by the federal General Accounting Office, and its own decision to close clinics. Americans are waking up to the reality that every life has value, and they are realizing that Planned Parenthood is light-years away from holding this principle dear.

Innocent children do not need Planned Parenthood. Women do not need Planned Parenthood. Families do not need Planned Parenthood. Cities and communities do not need Planned Parenthood. Simply put, America has no need for Planned Parenthood.

And it’s high time Planned Parenthood took the hint…
