Congress has announced it will investigate Planned Parenthood in light of a horrifying video showing the abortion giant selling aborted baby organs and body parts for profit. Many are hopeful the truth of this abortion profiteer will finally be exposed; however, in the meantime, it is time for a moratorium on all taxpayer funding of Planned Parenthood.
Every taxpaying American is forced to fund Planned Parenthood. It is entirely unacceptable that over $500 million dollars of taxpayer dollars go, without choice, to the abortion giant every year. Every day, Planned Parenthood receives $1.4 million, and with those funds, the abortion corporation propels the greatest human rights injustice of our day — along with profiteering from the sale of aborted baby parts.
The news that Planned Parenthood is being investigated is promising. The abortion giant will now be forced to answer the questions it only dismisses with rhetoric. But in the course of time it takes to investigate Planned Parenthood, more babies will die and more baby parts can be shipped off to labs for research. Thus, Congress needs to suspend all funding of Planned Parenthood in light of these allegations.
This isn’t the first investigation on the abortion giant that shows Planned Parenthood’s brutality against human life and contempt for rule of law. As the petition to defund Planned Parenthood, which is rapidly approaching 100,000 signatures, states:

Planned Parenthood is intensely focused on its abortion business. Its facilities have abortion quotas.
No one should ever be forced to give his or her tax dollars to an organization that endangers women and children. I stand with my fellow Americans in a nationwide call to immediately stop taxpayer funding of Planned Parenthood.
With the overwhelming evidence that currently exists, Planned Parenthood’s funding must be completely stripped. Congress should take immediate action to end the forced taxpayer funding of America’s largest abortion chain.
