Pro-Life Action League launches “Face the Truth” tour

Waking people up and saving lives.

On July 6, the Pro-life Action League is launching it’s 13th annual tour “Face the Truth” across northeastern Illinois. Participants in the tour hold graphic photos of aborted babies at busy intersections. This tour is meant to be peaceful and prayerful. On their website they claim that:

Though controversial, this pro-life tactic has proven itself indispensable in the fight against abortion. The lies and equivocations of the pro-choice movement have blurred the public’s vision when it comes to abortion.

Many truly believe that what’s being aborted is merely a clump of cells or a blob of tissue. It is incredibly common for Face the Truth participants to hear passersby saying things like, “That’s what an abortion is?”

If you’ve heard people voice objections to Face the Truth, or if you have objections or questions yourself, please check out our Answering Common Objections page where we answer some of those questions in depth.

This campaign has shown many people the horror of abortion; in addition to that, it has saved lives.

On last year’s tour a young couple saw the Tour on Daley Plaza in downtown Chicago and stopped to talk. They were five weeks pregnant and seriously considering abortion.

A tour volunteer listened to their story and referred them to the pregnancy hotline listed in the literature we distribute at every Tour stop. On the spot, after seeing the pictures, they decided not to go through with the abortion and were directed to the help they needed. Another baby saved by Face the Truth!
