Pro-life group using Christmas carols to fight for life
The Pro-Life Action League will hold its annual “Empty Manger” Christmas Caroling Day in Chicago and in the western suburbs. The event takes place in front of abortion clinics. This year will mark the event’s tenth anniversary on December 22, 2012. Some 130 carolers participated in 2011.
On December 22, carolers in two groups will visit five abortion clinics in Chicago and four in DuPage County. Other groups will participate around the country. You can find a list of other current events here. If you would like to form a group in your community, download the caroling booklet here.
Carolers at each facility will gather around an empty manger. The manger symbolizes the hope of new life and the emptiness left after an abortion.
