Radio host boasts about paying $45,000 for abortions

A well-known radio host said he’s glad he spent thousands of dollars on abortions for his girlfriends – instead of getting stuck with thousands of dollars in child support.

Troi Torain, the radio personality known as Star, disclosed his abortion behavior in response to questions about NBA basketball player J.J. Redick. Redick, who plays for the Los Angeles Clippers, allegedly made his girlfriend sign an abortion contract while they were dating.

Star said Redick “sounds like a smart man” for making an abortion contract with his former girlfriend, Vanessa Lopez.

“I’ve spent at least $45,000 on abortions,” Star said.

The interviewer asked Star, “How much is an abortion?”

Star said, “Well, it depends. If you take a female to a clinic, as opposed to a private doctor, it could vary between $1,200.”

“If you put $45,000 on the table in abortions, as opposed to 18 years, is what you’re paying for, you know, a little f***ing rugrat, and possibly $600,000.”

He concluded, “I think I’ve come out all right.”

When asked if he would do the same as Redick by signing an abortion contract, Star said, “Sure. Absolutely.”

The interviewer asked, “You’d have abortion contracts and everything? Kill them off?”

“Absolutely,” Star responded.

Star joins Redick as another real life bro-choicer. The bro-choice movement is a group of men who are pro-abortion for their own personal gain – to use and abuse women.

Sounds like a gem of a guy

    • Basset_Hound

Sound like a perfect match for a certain female troll that kept carpet bombing several discussion threads with her ramblings.

      • PrincessJasmine4

        I think you’re quite right :-)

        • Basset_Hound

And SHE’S B-A-A-A-C-K (in case you didn’t notice).

          • PrincessJasmine4

We all really need a way to contact each other outside of this forum :-)

          • Griffonn

You know several NRO readers/commenters started up a site of their own: stubbornthings.org

(as in “facts are stubborn things)
The guy who started it simply left comments for everyone asking them to email him at (then his email address). Discus apparently does not automatically delete email addresses (though individual sites might).

          • PrincessJasmine4

I’ve left on of my email addresses on my profile for any pro lifers who wants to contact me and toss around ideas outside of this forum… but I’ll check out this other site. Thanks :-)

          • Griffonn

Wasn’t really trying to push the other site so much as to let you know it *is* possible to connect outside of Discus.

(But I do like Brad who started the site, he always struck me as a very thoughtful sort of commenter.)

          • MarcusFenix

Correct. I just set up a dummy account for emails from people, which can be found under my name. Helps me weed out ignorant people and doesn’t spam my actual inbox. :)

          • PrincessJasmine4

            I know :-)

          • Basset_Hound

Thanks, Griffonn. I’ll make sure to check it out. Is Mom of 4 there? She’s a very intelligent, articulate woman.

      • blair miller

Which one? we seem to be having a lot of them lately.

        • Basset_Hound

A REALLY annoying one. I don’t want to mention her by handle and give her the notoriety she craves.

          • JDC

Yeah, but aren’t they all REALLY annoying?

          • Sally23

So do you guys consider anyone who disagrees with your backward woman hating way of thinking to be a troll?

I guess the people on this site only want to sit around talking with people who are going to tell them they are correct in thinking woman belong barefoot in the kitchen.

          • Calvin Freiburger

Hi, someone45! So what was the idea – use a different screen name when you want to trash people even more viciously than usual?

          • PrincessJasmine4

I guess this is becoming the M.O of the pro abort…

          • JDC

*sigh*, Why do all the wacky ones eventually resort to sock puppetry?

          • Basset_Hound

I thought sock-puppetry was a capital offense at LA.

          • JDC

From what I remember of the Alex Hunter debacle, it’s a “you only get one warning” offense.

          • Calvin Freiburger

Plus morbid curiosity about how she’ll respond.

          • someone45

WTF are you talking about now… I didn’t make up a new screen name. I would have no problem replying under my own.

          • PrincessJasmine4

hmm…. do you consider anyone who disagrees with you a backward woman hater?

I guess people like you cannot come up with an actual argument. You just come here to hurl a silly insult and then move on… you make your side look bad
So by all means, keep up the good work

          • Basset_Hound

            “Backward”?????? “Woman hating”?????? REALLY????

I just consider a snarky toddler trapped in an adult’s body to be a troll. BTW, numerous posters on this site are women with degrees, and careers. Others elected to scale back careers and others actually stayed at home to RAISE their kids (instead of killing them). So SURPRISE…SURPRISE….someon…er…Sally…we DO believe that women belong in other places besides the kitchen.

          • someone45

I didn’t make that comment to you, but there is nothing wrong about someone wanting to do more with their life than have babies. If that means a woman has an abortion then it is her choice. Some people view raising a child and being trapped all day at home with the kid as something horrible and they don’t want that.

I also don’t need professional help because I have no desire to have my life, body, and happiness ruined by a pregnancy. It is not irrational. Google pregnancy symptoms and you will find a lot of what I am talking about. Just because you claim your pregnancy was easy, doesn’t mean every woman considers it to be easy.

          • MarcusFenix

Too bad you got busted with the screen name change…why couldn’t you have just been honest about your views upfront?

Personally, I like being in the kitchen more than my better half…she likes the fact I cook like a boss, and I love being a chef. So unless you want to help me make a sammich…well, this one doesn’t fly.
