St. Louis Planned Parenthood sends 31st patient to hospital since 2009

As Live Action News reported earlier this year, a Planned Parenthood facility in St. Louis, Missouri, sent a patient to the hospital for the 30th time since 2009.

On Friday, yet another Planned Parenthood patient was sent to the hospital from the facility after a botched abortion, making 31 such emergencies since 2009, according to Operation Rescue, which considers the St. Louis facility to be one of the most dangerous in America.

“The public has the right to know why so many women are being maimed at this abortion center, especially in light of the fact that Planned Parenthood continues to receive tax dollars,” said Operation Rescue President Troy Newman.

“Planned Parenthood should not be held above the law,” Newman continued. “When it is, women are the ones who pay the price.”

Due to the alarming number of emergencies at the Planned Parenthood facility, Operation Rescue attempted to access 911 records, but was provided with documents that were so heavily redacted that even the dates of the incidents had been erased. Operation Rescue is currently suing to compel the St. Louis Fire Department to comply with state and federal open records regulations regarding the 911 calls made from the Planned Parenthood facility.

“The St. Louis Planned Parenthood continues to hospitalize suffering women at an alarming rate,” said Newman. “We look forward to the day when the full truth is finally told about abuses at this barbaric abortion mill, and it is shut down once and for all.”
