Video: youth have a passion for their “unborn brothers and sisters”

In this short video, a young man explains eloquently why more and more young people are flocking to the pro-life movement. Displaying a great deal more intelligence than many of the youth we’ve been seeing in the news lately, this young person accurately quotes the Declaration of Independence, which guarantees the right to Life, Liberty, and Property for all people. He also warns that allowing the slaughter of the unborn “opens the floodgates” to violating further rights, and not just for the unborn.

Watch the video here and share it with your friends.

I thought it said ‘life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness’? What’s with the ‘property’ bit?

It also said ‘governments are instituted among men’ – sorry Michelle, Sarah and the rest of you.

This young man has a bit of life experience to attain. Let’s see how he feels when he gets some poor girl pregnant.

Oh Tom, tom and tom again…..please know that he knows what he is talking about. A fine young man standing up for LIFE which is the sign of a really good youth. Get with it tommy. little boy. What happened to you? There is not a family in the United States that has not been effected by this lie of lies. Wake up Tom!! It is as if you have invincible ignorance. This young man will perhaps listen to his conscience. He is a hero. Have you ever taken a biology class??? If life cannot be protected then nothing can. Read the case that screwed our entire country into abortion on demand. It is called Roe Vs Wade. Based on a lie. You would think twice if it were illegal.

Standing up for “LIFE” doesn’t automatically grant someone intelligence.

erm, no, but he was well-spoken in the video and that’s what they’re talking about.  Also, you don’t have to be intelligent to make a moral choice.  Hitler was a genius at public speaking.  That doesn’t make what he said right.

Lots of young guys get a girl pregnant and do their best to be the best fathers they can be. Why are you assuming that impending fatherhood would make ANY guy suddenly in favor of abortion?

      • Tom

Sure, some do. But you and I both know that some young men and women suddenly lose their anti-choice stance when they find themselves with an unwanted pregnancy.

What is this “anti-choice” of which you speak?

The “property” bit comes from the philosopher Locke, and the Declaration
was based on many of his views.  Jefferson changed the “property” part
of the phrase to “pursuit of happiness” (probably because otherwise
people might think they deserve free property.)  The original phrase is
also one of the amendments to the Constitution, where it says you can’t
be deprived of “life, liberty, or PROPERTY” without due process of law.

Also, just because the Declaration of Independence supports a
male-dominated culture with some of its nomenclature doesn’t mean that
every idea expressed in it is wrong.  The Constitution once supported
slavery.  Does that mean our entire form of government is wrong and that
all the rights and freedoms guaranteed to us should be taken away?

You obviously don’t know Paul (the young man in the video).  He’s one of the most capable, intelligent, and upright persons I’ve ever had the pleasure to meet.  Please don’t slander someone without any warrant.

    • Djushi

Tom, I think you need to take into consideration the fact that we believe the unborn are people … thus you say, ‘Let’s see how he feels when he feels like murdering someone.’

Feelings aren’t quite as important as right and wrong. If you feel like murdering someone, doesn’t mean you should.

This is what I think the pro-life movement in America should focus on – religion aside, abortion is un-American. Each American generation falls short of the ideals the country was founded on; two hundred years ago it was slavery, now it’s abortion. Slavery and abortion both operate(d) under the mindset that some people were lesser human beings than others. The good news is that America is capable of radical change to eradicate its injustices. If you’d told a bunch of slaves and slave owners in 1854 that Brown v. Board of Education would happen a hundred years later, they would have thought you were crazy.

Might I also add that we, the youth of the nation, have the unique and tragic position in that 1/3 of our generation has been wiped out by abortion, thanks to its legalization. Other babies who were conceived around the same time as us were being brutally destroyed at all stages of their prenatal development! Millions of men and women are missing today; they were denied their right to live and make their own choices because of the choices others made to kill them. We are not only rising to protect younger generations, but to restore some semblance of dignity that was stolen from our generation.
