Why not an ‘Abortion Advocacy Medal of Distinction’ for Barack Obama?

You have to admit: he’s earned it.

Amid the Gosnell hubbub, according to Jay Carney, President Obama canceled his plans at the last minute to deliver the keynote speech at Planned Parenthood Federation of America’s annual fundraising dinner. Instead, he has chosen to speak to PPFA supporters on the morning following the fundraiser. It’s certainly likely that Obama is still interested in helping raise baby-killing money, not to mention reaffirming that he has no problem with slaughterhouses as long as they have nice waiting rooms and the attendants wear colorful scrubs. The difference is that this time, he’s chosen to do it in a low-key way.

Held in Washington, D.C., the theme of the event this year is “Time for Care,” because everyone who’s anyone knows that the perfect way to show you care is to fill red biohazard bags with 300,000 lifeless infants a year.

obama planned parenthoodFull of effusive gratitude, Planned Parenthood Federation of America President Cecile Richards recently said this about Barack Obama:

He understands that access to birth control and preventive health care are economic issues for women and their families. We fought alongside him to ensure that women’s health access was expanded in the landmark Affordable Care Act, and now we have to fight hard to ensure that the full promise of health care reform is realized for millions of women.

In other words, Cecile is expressing personal thanks to the president for dedicating the first two years of his presidency to securing taxpayer-funded free birth control, morning-after pills, and above all, free abortion, with the occasional “health care” mammogram thrown in for cover.

Cecile Richards appreciates Obama for his support because she feels that he “has done more than any president in history for women’s health and rights.” When it comes to lasting legacies, what could be better than an inscription on a placard hung in the Barack H. Obama Library that touts his support for the slaughter of innocents?

Barack Obama missing the dinner is probably disappointing, but Dr. Ruth Westheimer will still be there! For her “lifelong commitment to empowering women and men to talk openly and honestly about sex and sexual health,” Dr. Ruth will be awarded the Margaret Sanger Award, which is Planned Parenthood’s highest honor, named after the well-known eugenicist. Let’s not forget that Margaret Sanger, the founder of Planned Parenthood, started the organization based on a racist philosophy which held that “[t]he most merciful thing that a family does to one of its infant members is to kill it” – and even more so if those infant family members happened to be black.

Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa is also an honoree. There is a possibility that the mayor will be accompanied by Barack Obama’s “brainstorming” border security expert/liberal Hollywood shill Eva Longoria. For his dedication to protecting women’s health care in the City of Los Angeles, Antonio is due to receive the “Care. No Matter What” award.

Dr. LaVerne Tolbert, a former Planned Parenthood board member, claims that:

In California, children are targeted for abortions through school-based clinics and school-linked clinics…Girls are taken off campus to a Planned Parenthood clinic, where abortions are performed without parental consent or notification.

Well, those revelations certainly explain the “No Matter What” aspect of Villaraigosa’s award. “No matter what” the age and “no matter what” Mom and Dad may think, esteemed California officials are there to make sure that “no matter what,” no one and nothing stands in the way of exercising reproductive rights.

As for Barack Obama, keynote speech cancellation aside, after five years of ensuring access to abortion, this president is head and shoulders above the 42 presidents who have gone before him. Therefore, it would certainly be appropriate, in honor of courageous late-term abortionists everywhere, if Planned Parenthood bestowed upon anti-Born Alive Act Barack in absentia a new award called the “Abortion Advocacy Medal of Distinction.”

Nonetheless, whether pro-choice or pro-life, either way, one would be hard-pressed to deny that Barack Obama has certainly earned Planned Parenthood’s accolades. After all, this cancellation is the first time the president has allowed concerns about public reaction to pictures of crumpled newborns in garbage cans to force him to disappoint like-minded acolytes. Besides, over the years, whenever it’s needed, Barack Obama has faithfully scoffed at critics of abortion and taken a firm but polite stand on the side of unrighteousness.

It’s that type of sterling pro-choice community credentials that makes it surprising that Barack Obama has decided to pay heed to the controversy surrounding the grisly trial underway in Philadelphia. Not to worry, though, since this president has proven time and again that he strongly supports the iconic abortion provider, because unlike no-frills killer Kermit Gosnell, Planned Parenthood has built a first-rate reputation for killing and disposing of babies in both a sanitary and timely manner – except when it doesn’t.
